(As seen on TV) Should illegal aliens get free birth control?
The nicer we make it for illegal aliens, the more will come. If they are greeted by arrest and deportation, unemployment, and the same expensive health care citizens all pay, maybe they'll stay where they belong. Let's teach them to migrate legally,[and insist they do so.]
(Is that inflammatory enough?)

Being from Texas where many cross over, I personally don't think illegal aliens should get more advantages than I have...and they do in the health care system which really ticks me off.
My family falls through the loop holes in the insurance system. I have a 3 year old who will need open heart surgery when she's 4. A year ago, we couldn't afford decent coverage, and now that we can, it's too late. She's already been diagnosed with a congenital heart defect. No one will insure her and cover the costs for her heart problem. The group insurance we're now on may or may not cover her after she's been on it for a year--hopefully the open heart surgery can wait. Texas Risk Pool insurance isn't an option b/c my husband has been offered group insurance. I'm telling you more than you'd ever care to know.
The point is that she'd qualify for all sorts of programs if she were the child of an illegal and was born here. At least that's what I'm told by another mom of a child with a CHD who literally topped out of their lifetime insurance cap.
But to answer your question, I usually go to church on Sundays, but yesterday I was home with a sick child who threw up while I was typing this. No proof reading for me. And I wrote that "long diatribe" late Sunday night.
