Miserere nobis

This will be my last post until at least Wednesday, because I will be busy praying. Each day, as always, I will be thanking God for President George W. Bush, who has kept us safe in our homes. Then, I will pray that the voters reject the least qualified Presidential candidate since 1948, when there were three Socialists and a segregationist.

I realize that God has never granted me anything I requested for myself; so, for years, I have only asked for boons for others. For the next few days, I will be praying that our nation will be spared the pain that an Obama administration would bring. I invite you to join me.

You should pray for the strength to love our new President Barack Obama. God would want that.

How would that work? What would God do? Would he force people to vote for McCain?
How can your god control an election and it still be a democracy?

Yeah, Bush kept us safe in homes...too bad he didn't lift a finger to save all those people who died on 11 Sept 2001. Clinton kept us safe in homes. Reagan? Ditto. Franklin Pierce? Yep. In fact, when it comes to epic fail and catastrophic loss of American life off the battlefield, George Bush is the clear winner. God must really dislike Bush to have visited such a disaster upon his presidency.

Nobody was safe in Clinton's America, especially in his office.
